The project involves the construction of an overpass at the Bangna-Trat-Srinakarin intersection (Highway 3344), spanning 500 meters.
Construction work: Wet bored piles, large diameter bored piles. On Bangna-Trat Srinakarin Road (Route 3344), the two parallel overpasses are approximately 500-600 meters long. The piles are of two sizes, with depths of 50-60 meters (0.80 and 1.00 m diameter). The load-bearing piers are divided into 12 bases, each with 6 to 8 piles. Because some pile centers are less than 6 times the pile diameter apart, the drilling sequence requires alternating the pier bases in some locations.
SAFETY FIRST
Because the construction is taking place on a median strip with heavy traffic, the movement of pile-driving cranes and the transportation of construction equipment into casings using a vibrohammer must be carried out with extreme caution to ensure maximum safety.
